Holland America Line is a British–American-owned cruise line headquartered in Seattle. Since 1989 the cruise company is a subsidiary of Carnival Corporation & plc. Holland America has a long history of traditional cruising on spacious, elegant midsize ships. With a fleet of 15 cruise ships, HAL sails to ports of call on all seven continents. All ships have a dark blue hull with white superstructure, with the company’s logo featured prominently on the functional smoke stacks.
