Norwegian Cruise Line
Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL), with Oceania Cruises and Regent Seven Seas Cruises, is a subsidiary of Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings (NCLH). It’s a cruise line founded in 1966 and based in the United States with headquarters in Miami, Florida.
The ships are fairly large, carrying between 1936 and 4266 passengers. While Norwegian’s vessels can feel crowded, they maintain a ratio of approximately one staff member per every two or three passengers. They are one of the most affordable ocean cruise lines on the market.
Freestyle cruising
NCL became known for two main factors: its casual “freestyle cruising” and the endless number of dining options. Today, with a fleet of 17 cruise ships, it sails all over the world. Other 6 ships as Leonardo Class are on order for the next years.
For 2020, in Venice cruise terminal NCL will operate with Norwegian Dawn (Dawn class)and Norwegian Jade (Jewel class).
